ABOUT LUMIN — SEASON 4
What this is
A live, unedited record of a systematic trading system on BTC · ETH · SOL. Season 4 (from 24 Sep 2026) continues the Season-3 sleeves and open positions without a reset; earlier seasons are frozen archives. The system works on daily candles: one reading per day, after the close — it never trades intraday. Every position and every night's decision is published here as it happens, and the page is read-only — a mirror of the trading record, never edited after the fact.
Sizing & risk
Each pair trades as an independent $1M sleeve — its own account, its own equity curve. Every position is protected by a hard stop-loss fixed at entry, and position size always follows the sleeve's current equity. All returns shown are net of exchange fees and funding costs.
Two strategies
Aggressive is the base strategy: built to maximize time in the market, long or short. It flips sides when the nightly reading concludes the trend has genuinely turned — and it abandons a position when the reasoning that opened it is proven wrong, rather than defending it — losses are cut by the reading itself, not by fear and not by a mechanical level. Protective (in trial) follows the same entries and the same invalidation discipline, and adds exactly one refinement: it may exit to cash when a trend is read as complete — on confirmed weakness, never on the first dip a real trend routinely survives — banking the gain rather than staying exposed while the next move forms.
The two exits
Every position is guarded by two exits, and both are readings, never reflexes. Exit 1 — minimize losses: a position must keep proving the reasoning that opened it; the moment that reasoning is refuted on the tape, the position is closed — by the read, not by fear and not by a mechanical level. It runs on both strategies. Exit 2 — maximize gains: when a delivered move’s end is confirmed — never on the first weakness, which real trends routinely survive — the gain is banked to cash. It acts on Protective; Aggressive records it and rides until the trend truly turns. Beneath both sits the mechanical hard stop, the only rule allowed to act on price alone.
The nightly read
Markets are read, not predicted. Each night a mechanical filter screens every pair, and most nights nothing qualifies — patience is the default. When something has genuinely happened, several independent analysts each read a full year of that market's price history, blind to which coin it is, to the date, and to what the book currently holds — so no bias can reach the read. A trade happens only when they arrive at the same conclusion independently and that conclusion survives open debate between them. Once a position is open, the analysts who entered it stay on nightly watch, judging it by how the market's story develops — never by fear of giving back profit. That watch is where the two exits live, and its purpose is simple: minimize the loss when the reasoning behind a position fails (Exit 1, both strategies) and maximize the gain by banking a move once its end is confirmed (Exit 2, Protective). Above it all sits the hard stop-loss, which overrides everything.
